Luxy Hair halo hair extensions Reviews: Did you buy halo extensions from Luxy Hair? If so, please leave your review below. In this review, I will be reviewing Luxy Hair. I purchased my Luxy Hair halo extensions with my own money. This is an unbiased Luxy Hair review.

Thank you for always taking the time to read my hair extension review articles, leaving your comments, and sharing your own reviews and thoughts with me and my other readers. How The Pandemic Affected The Hair Salon Industry
Amidst this relentless and difficult pandemic, I hope you are all doing well and staying as healthy and safe as possible in these trying times. The pandemic has hit us all very hard, and for those that earn through independent businesses, there is basically no source of income left since clients aren’t able to leave their homes to pay for their services. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic has begun, the hair salon industry has been experiencing a very hard time. Hair salons were forced to close their doors for many months, and when they were allowed to open up a long while later, only a few clients were allowed in at a time. This severely slowed many businesses down and halted many people’s incomes and jobs drastically. Then again, towards the end of the year, all salons were closed up again. Not only is this disadvantageous to the business owners and hairstylists, but it also affected the customers daily since they were no longer able to get their hair extensions installed the way they were used to.
While in quarantine and far away from their trusty hairdressers, people began a trend of dyeing or cutting their own hair and even installing their hair extensions by themselves. That’s exactly why I’m writing this review; I want my readers to know which hair extension company to shop from, what type of hair extensions are most easily installed, and how you can install them all by yourself at home. However, as a professional, the first thing I would recommend is to completely avoid installing permanent hair extensions by yourself as it requires expertise to achieve a realistic result. That’s why I won’t be reviewing permanent hair extensions on my blog for a while; I’ll be opting for easier installation processes like halo hair extensions, clip-in hair extensions, ponytail hair extensions, wigs, etc. I believe everyone should be able to experiment with their hair in terms of length, volume, and color whenever they want and this is the best place to learn how. Read on to find out all about where I bought my hair extensions from, which type of hair extensions I bought, how to install them, how much they cost if they’re worth it, and the product’s quality.
If you’re an avid reader of my blog and have some experience in the world of hair extensions and wigs, you most definitely know about the widely famous brand Luxy Hair. They’ve had a long history in the hair extension history and have definitely made a name for themselves. I think they were one of the first online hair extensions companies and quickly became everyone’s go-to brand when it came to receiving high-quality hair extensions and other related products at their doorstep quickly. They truly are one of the only hair extensions websites that actually makes sense. They know exactly how to market their products, what their customers want, and what’s in the best interest of everyone. Their website is seamless, detailed, and easy to navigate; you won’t get lost looking for the perfect product for yourself. To sum it all up in my experienced opinion, Luxy Hair is a legit company if you want to buy great hair extensions. It seems Bellami Hair is maybe more popular, but Luxy Hair still remains one of the more sought-after brands in the industry. My experience shopping hair extensions from Luxy Hair was a lot more positive and overall better than Bellami Hair.
I have had shopping experience with Luxy Hair before. In fact, you can find that review from a few years ago on my blog and you’ll see that my experience with them was just okay. At the time, I would definitely say that I wasn’t too satisfied with their products and shipping. I felt as if their hair quality was just decent enough, with nothing extra. But their customer service is just so amazing. Luxy Hair walks the talk when it comes to customer service. I never had any issues getting in contact with them. They reply to emails really quickly when compared to competitors. As someone who purchased hair extensions from different companies and brands, Luxy Hair literally has the best customer service. Their customer service is totally impeccable and I would even go as far as saying that they’re the best and most reliable customer service in my years of experience in the industry. The customer service representatives were polite and informative and I was able to get what I needed with just about no hassle. The problem with my last experience with Luxy Hair was that I had received an already opened package on my doorstep. My main concern was that the hair extensions have already been used or they were returned by a previous customer and then sent to me. Moreover, the hair quality I got from my Luxy Hair order in 2018 wasn’t that fantastic. I wasn’t too thrilled about the quality. It was as average as it could be. However, looking back on it now after I’ve gained much more experience in the industry, shopped from many other brands, and realize the quality standards in the world of hair extensions and wigs especially when it’s sold online, I would say that Luxy Hair is one of the most reliable online shops to purchase hair extensions from.
Since it’s been a few years since I’ve had this experience with Luxy Hair and reviewed their products, I thought I should try them out again.
The Review of Luxy Hair halo extensions
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve already shopped from Luxy Hair a few years ago and the experience wasn’t completely satisfactory, aside from the fact that I was very impressed with their customer service, website, and reliability. However, I’m going to be completely unbiased going into this review and hope that there won’t be any incidents like last time. This time, I’ll be reviewing halo hair extensions from Luxy Hair. The reason why I picked halo hair extensions is that they’re at the top of the list when it comes to ease in installation as well as a realistic result. For anyone trying to achieve a longer and fuller hairstyle by themselves at home, there’s really no better, easier, and quicker option than halo hair extensions. Let’s talk a bit about the measurements, color, quality, price, packaging, and installation process of the halo hair extensions I bought from Luxy Hair.
Measurements and Color
For today’s hair extension review, the hair extensions I’ll be talking about are the halo hair extensions from Luxy Hair. These halo hair extensions are 16 inches long and the main halo weft weighs about 110 grams, while the two mini wefts combine with it to create a net weight of 140 grams. I’ve had experiences with several hair extension brands that I didn’t receive the length I ordered. However, that’s not the case with Luxy Hair. I measured, and the hair wefts were exactly 16 inches long. It’s also often the case that you don’t receive the color of hair extensions that you saw on the website, which is why it’s always best to order a sample beforehand so that you know the shade matches your hair seamlessly. Luckily with Luxy Hair, they include two mini wefts in the box they send you so that you can test the hair extensions out, and if there are any complaints, you can return them to the company as long as the main weft has not been unpacked. Thankfully, I received exactly the color I had ordered, which was a beautiful shade called Sandy Blonde.
Halo hair extensions price
The price of the set I ordered from Luxy Hair was priced at $264 CAD or $209 USD. In my professional opinion, a set of halo hair extensions that weighed 140 grams shouldn’t cost $264; I believe their products are a bit overpriced. Obviously, the prices go much higher as the lengths of the hair extensions increase. Not only did I pay $264 CAD for the hair extensions, but they also no longer offer free delivery at Luxy Hair like they used to. That means I had to pay an extra $6.38 CAD for 10 to 15 business days delivery time. I would have considered this an excusable total price if I didn’t also have to pay almost $40 CAD for duty fees, which I found completely excessive and unfair. In total, I paid a little over $310 CAD for a simple set of halo hair extensions.
Overall, I wouldn’t say that I was satisfied with the prices of Luxy Hair’s products, especially since there are a lot of extra charges that I wasn’t expecting or should have to pay for. One disclaimer I want to get across to my readers from outside the US is that you will be receiving an invoice from the delivery company when your order arrives at your doorstep. The delivery company won’t give you your order unless you pay that extra charge!
Let’s talk a bit about my experience when I received Luxy Hair’s package on my doorstep.
I was relieved to see a completely sealed and secured package on my doorstep this time, which instantly added one point to the pros list of Luxy Hair instantly. The hair extensions came in a beautiful pink round box which tugged on my heartstrings instantly; I’ll always be a fan of Luxy Hair’s feminine and cute packaging. Attention to detail is one of the benefits of shopping from this company. This beautiful pink box included the following things: The main 10-inch wide halo weft which weighed 110 grams and two mini wefts for testing which weigh 15 grams each, with clips attached to each one. These two mini wefts are included so that you can use them to test the color, length, and texture of the hair extensions without having to open the main weft package, making it easier to return the product. However, in my professional opinion, I believe you can also use these mini wefts on the sides of your hair for a fuller and more realistic look. It looks especially great and voluminous on women with shorter hair! Aside from the hair, the box also included a mini catalog that showed how to install the halo hair extensions in simple and clear instruction. The catalog also included tips on how to take care of halo hair extensions and maintain their fresh and healthy look. Since these are easy to install at home for a person with no expertise or experience, I’m glad they decided to include a step-by-step guide.
Luxy Hair halo hair quality
I was highly impressed by the quality of halo hair extensions from Luxy Hair. It was everything you need in a set of high-quality hair extensions; it was soft to the touch and had an extremely realistic look. Once it was installed, it had no problem blending in seamlessly with the real hair since the color was so healthy and realistic. The hair was silky and shiny but it did not have that synthetic layer of shine that makes hair extensions look fake, which is why I’m glad that I chose human hair extensions instead of synthetic hair extensions. These halo hair extensions weren’t stiff in any way, they moved around swiftly and realistically just like your real hair would. I’m happy with the length, volume, feel, and color of the hair extensions and with good care, I can definitely see these hair extensions lasting a very long time.
Applying halo hair extensions
The best part about halo hair extensions is that they’re one of the easiest extensions to install, which is exactly why I picked them for today’s review. If you’re looking to add length and volume to your real hair with no help from a professional hairstylist and in the comfort of your own home, then there’s no better pick for you than halo hair extensions. In my experience in the field of hairstyling and installing hair extensions, I’ve noticed that some brands require you to adjust or shorten the halo wire according to the size of your head but that’s not the case with Luxy Hair.
They already include severely different sizes of halo wires, ranging from XS to XXL, which you can take your pick from.
The reason these hair extensions are called halo hair extensions is that the wire sits atop the crown of your head like a halo, and is then hidden with more layers of your real hair. The installation process is unbelievably simple; all you have to do is part your hair across the width of your crown, and then place the halo wire and adjust accordingly. The weft also has two small and discreet clips attached to it, which you can use to further secure the hair extensions in your real hair. I’ll also let you in on some hair care secrets to keep your halo hair extensions in perfect condition and looking healthy and fresh as long as possible. First, make sure you store your halo hair extensions in a cool and dry place vertically to avoid tangling. Also, remember to always wash them with extra hydrating shampoos and conditioners to retain the moisture.
My Final Opinion
In conclusion, I would say that I’m very happy with my new and improved experience with Luxy Hair and I would definitely recommend shopping from them. If you have the budget for it and you’re looking for high-quality, realistic, and trustworthy hair extensions, then there’s no better place to go than Luxy Hair. The quality is impeccable, the customer service is commendable, and the result is perfectly realistic.

Human hair extensions have many advantages. If you’re thinking about trying them, you can ask a stylist to help you decide which type is best for you.
